A Brief History of “Climate Change”

 1970’s: The Coming Ice Age

Time-Global-Cooling

This photo could almost be a parody of modern global warming alarmism if it wasn’t from 1973.

Scientists then virtually deemed the coming “Ice Age” as a scientific inevitability and queried how humans are causing what they saw then as a dramatic trend of global cooling.

In Newsweek’s 1975 article “The Cooling World,” award winning scientific reporter Peter Gwynne outlined how “ominous signs” of earth’s cooling weather patterns were going to radically change the landscape and economic conditions of earth in only a few short years. Complete with a temperature chart showing a spike in lowering temperatures, the article even references tornado frequency and damages as evidence of the cooling weather trend.

The panic model is the same scheme used by modern panicky global warming community.
