28 senators we call real deal champions of liberty

By voting to reject the continuing resolution, these senators told their constituents that liberty matters.

By Richard Manning

Americans for Limited Government thanks the  28 U.S. senators, all Republican, who last Thursday rejected the Continuing Resolution, H.R. 6119 that funds enforcement for President Joe Biden’s unconstitutional COVID vaccine mandates.

These Republicans stood for freedom  when they voted for an amendment (which was ultimately rejected by Democrats)  to strip out funding to enforce Biden’s vaccine mandate in a federal spending bill. But these senators put their money where their mouth was by voting against the bill itself, which still included the mandate funding.

Each and every one of these senators is a real deal champion of liberty. By voting to reject the continuing resolution, they told their constituents that liberty matters.

The fight to defund Biden’s unconstitutional federal government overreach is the fight Republicans were elected to fight.  It is a classic battle between those who believe in limited government powers versus those who believe there is no end to what the federal government can do.
