Has the Recovery Act done anything for Rhode Island? No.
Has “Recovery Summer” done anything for Rhode Island? No.
Rhode Island is in a bad position. While Rhode Island had a better jobs “recovery” than most states at the beginning of 2010, that has disappeared. While less than a billion dollars of “stimulus” monies have been pumped into the state, the effect of that “stimulus” has not been realized. Rhode Island has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation and the Obama administration’s Big Government policies have done nothing to fix this.
