Continuing on the Recovery Summer and Stimulus: State by StateAMP, we head to Vermont.
Quick Vermont facts:
The employment trend in Vermont has been a roller coaster. While the employment situation was in decline throughout 2009, a “recovery” can be noticed beginning throughout the end of 2010 and coming to a sharp end around mid-spring 2010. While Vermont has seen a net decrease in it’s unemployment rate since January of 2009, if the current trend holds, the unemployment rate will be increasing. (Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics)
