Obama Czar Cass Sunstein promotes balancing the internet in this bizzare radio interview:
Sunstein argues that a conservative site, like this one, would have to link to a site like Daily Kos for society to be best informed. The logic here is typical amongst those in D.C. suffering from Mary Poppins syndrome. Can you imagine what would happen to people if they visited a conservative website to find that there was no liberal point of view to read? It is odd that I am yet to be bombarded with emails asking me to post a progressive response to the content I post here. I guess the people that Cass believes need it so badly decided to just go visit a progressive site instead, as logic would suggest they would.
Big Brother Cass takes it further though. He says it would be nice if people would do this voluntarily, but, should they refuse to, Congress should mandate they do so. Cass has exposed himself as the Big Brother statist we said he was.
Check out who confirmed Sunstein in the Senate for his post as the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Management and Budget. As usual, some GOP notables failed to stand up against the Obama appointees that hate the First Amendment (I also included Specter in the list to further show why his absence from the halls of the Senate will not be missed):
- Outgoing Specter (D-PA)
- Outgoing Bennet (R-UT)
- Snowe (R-ME)
- Collins (R-ME)
- Lugar (R-IN)
- Hatch (R-UT)
- Voinovich (R-OH)
