Natural Gas
The remarkably clean and safe natural gas industry has been growing exponentially over the last decade, with promising outlooks for future growth and development. Now generating about the 30 percent of the nation’s energy, hydraulic fracturing (or “fracking”) has become a staple in American power development. There is estimated to be enough natural gas in the United States to generate all of the nation’s power needs for 175 years, at current usage rates. Regardless, the EPA and the radical left are looking to spoil the entire industry.
The EPA is currently preparing to act on allegations that the process of fracking (basically shooting highly-pressurized water into shale rock to release natural gasses for collection and use) has contaminated water wells. Despite the fact there is no evidence to date that fracking has poisoned a single water well, the possible new regulations could end a practice that has made the U.S. the “Saudi Arabia of natural gas.”
