Is China threatening nuclear war with U.S. in the wake of new scrutiny of Wuhan Lab-Leak investigation? With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. This week the media mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist government touted the country’s “urgent” goal to expand its arsenal of long-range nuclear missiles in anticipation of an “intense showdown” with the US. The editor of the Global Times wrote – quote – As the US strategic containment of China has increasingly intensified, I would like to remind again that we have plenty of urgent tasks, but among the most important ones is to rapidly increase the number of commissioned nuclear warheads, in the Chinese arsenal. The threat comes as President Biden ordered the US intelligence community to take another look at whether the coronavirus leaked from a Chinese lab. Clearly, this is crazy – but it shows the level of fear China has should the truth be exposed — if in fact the global pandemic started in the Wuhan lab. For more check us out at the DailyTorch.com.
