First Humans Around the Moon in 54 Years: Artemis II Speaks

The crew of NASA’s Artemis II – Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen – returned to Earth on April 10, 2026 after a record-breaking 10-day journey around the Moon.

This supercut captures the best moments from their welcome home ceremony at Ellington Field, Johnson Space Center in Houston: NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman’s remarks, and the crew’s first public words after splashdown.

America just sent humans farther from Earth than any crew in history. The Moon is next. Mars is after that.
