There was always an outside chance former Vice President Joe Biden would be able to come back after losing Iowa and New Hampshire, and now, with a bounce from South Carolina and wins in Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas, he is the Democratic frontrunner to take on President Donald Trump in November. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, however, may still have enough momentum to force a showdown for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party at the convention in Milwaukee, after winning California, Colorado and Utah convincingly. After Super Tuesday, Biden leads in delegates 453 and 382, and next up are Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota and Washington on March 10. So far, the race is close enough that there is a high likelihood that neither Sanders nor Biden will accumulate enough delegates in time for the convention — benefitting none other than President Trump, who gets to spend the next several months highlighting the negatives of both opponents, and capitalizing on Democrats’ division in the 2020 landscape. What do you think?

Trump travel restrictions on China slow down coronavirus, South Korea, Italy could be next:

On Jan. 31, after the World Health Organization declared a global health emergency from the coronavirus, President Trump instituted screening and travel restrictions from China to slow the spread of the virus that may have a higher than 2 percent mortality rate, although the World Health Organization has a 1.5 percent mortality rate outside of China and a 3.4 percent rate inside of China. With such a high mortality rate, containment is critical. In the U.S., so far there have been 60 cases with no deaths. And to keep it that way, the President may be considering expanding the travel restrictions to other countries with outbreaks like South Korea and Italy. “[I]f others aren’t taking care or we think they’re doing it incorrectly… At a right time, we may do that,” President Trump said on Feb. 26 at the White House from a reporter asking if the U.S. would institute additional screening and travel restrictions on South Korea and northern Italy, which have been hit with the Chinese coronavirus. Do you support the President’s travel restrictions to slow down the virus?

South Carolina last chance for Biden to get moving and slow down the socialist Bernie:

Former Vice President Joe Biden has never won a presidential primary in his entire career despite running for President for 32 years — he ran in 1988 and 2008 but promptly withdrew from both races in the early going after failing to gain traction — but that may change in South Carolina on Feb. 29 if the latest polls for the primary there are to be believed, where he leads anywhere from 4 to 18 points according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls. While most of the political punditry have written off Biden after fourth and fifth place showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, almost every single poll in South Carolina for the Democratic primary this election cycle has had Biden leading the race. The one exception by Change Research had him tied with Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Democratic frontrunner and self-described democratic socialist who is building momentum after back-to-back wins in New Hampshire and Iowa, but otherwise Biden has maintained comfortable leads in South Carolina polls. If Sanders prevails in South Carolina, he may be unstoppable headed into Super Tuesday on March 3. If, however, Biden manages to pull out a victory, it would breathe new life into his campaign and threaten to throw the Democratic nomination into chaos and slow Sanders’ momentum. How do you see things shaking out in the Palmetto State?
