ALG Editor’s Note: Last week, the House passed H.R. 1106, the bankruptcy-mortgage cram-down that gives bankruptcy judges the arbitrary authority to reduce mortgages and make taxpayers foot the bill. Unfortunately, there were seven Republican House members who punked out and succumbed to bailout fever: Representatives Castle (DE-CD1), Jones (NC-CD3), Ros-Lehtinen (FL-CD18), Diaz-Barlart (FL-CD21), Diaz-Barlart (FL-CD25), (McHugh (NY-CD23) and Turner (OH-CD3).
