This is from the National Black Power Convention held this past weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. The words uttered at this conference were deeply troubling. From calling for revolution, commiting foodstamp fraud, and even harming Obama, the New Black Panther Party has proven that it is certifiably insane.
After watching just enough of the convention footage to get a feel of what the weekend must have been like, one wonders where Janet Napolitano and DHS were? Have they issued a directive to police forces to closely monitor the folks engaged in this organization?
Where is Eric Holder? Will he be investigating an organization that has called for revolution and possible harm against Obama?
Take a look at this statement from New Black Panther Party chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz: “With the rise of the Tea Party, the white-right and other racist forces. With gun sales nationwide at an all time high amongst whites, with a mood that is more anti-Black than any time recent, it is imperative that we organize our forces, pool our resources and prepare for war!”
If DHS felt that the Tea Party Movement deserved close monitoring, then I am certain they will feel the same about the New Black Panther Party.
