Happy Thanksgiving,
Today is an important day of Football above all else. Your regular Must Reads, including 4 William Warren Thanksgiving cartoons, are below today’s Football forecast.
First at 12:30 eastern, Green Bay plays Detroit. This is a statement game for the Lions. The 11-0 Packers may meet their first loss today, but it will be a difficult task for the Lions. Look for the Packers to pull this out in a squeaker.
Second at 4:15 eastern, the Miami Dolphins face the Dallas Cowgirls. The Dolphins have warmed up after a very slow start to the season, and look to keep their new-found successes alive. Look for Dallas to get pummeled today. (I love any team that plays against Dallas.)
And finally, the Thursday night game at 8:20 eastern. The San Francisco 49’rs vs. the Baltimore Ravens. This is a brother against brother match-up as both Harbaugh brothers, Jim Harbaugh is the head coach of the niners and John Harbaugh is head coach of the Ravens. San Fran has been playing great ball all year, while Baltimore has dropped games they should have won but had quality wins against great teams. This will be a classic football battle. Niners pull this one out at the last second.
