Countdown: Obama’s 8 most dishonest state of the union moments

“While we have put al Qaeda’s core leadership on a path to defeat, the threat has evolved, as al Qaeda affiliates and other extremists take root in different parts of the world. In Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, and Mali, we have to keep working with partners to disrupt and disable these networks.”

It remains true that America’s war with radical Islamic groups wages on. What’s appalling is that the President had the audacity to list countries where al Qaeda’s resurging without mentioning Libya—the only place where American soil has been lost in direct conflict with radical Islamic militants.

Benghazi was a great American tragedy and the single most important foreign policy moment of Obama’s presidency. It remains ignored because it is not politically expedient to the President, his political allies, and his heir apparent—the Secretary of State on September 11, 2012, Hillary Clinton.
