Last May, the criminal investigation was officially launched. It’s now known that the one picked by the administration to lead the investigation is, herself, an Obama donor and political ally.

Given the structural sensitivity in this case, it could be argued that a more objective agent could be a necessity to a functional investigation. Instead, the Obama administration picked one of their own to uncover the possible corruption behind this disturbing story.
