UFO nut, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta calls for CIA to brief Electoral College on Russian takeover of America

By Natalia Castro

The Clinton team is at it again. After losing an election that they believed was in their pocket from the beginning, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta has decided any possible way to prevent a Trump presidency is worth pursuing. Now, that means joining with Clinton electors who are demanding that the CIA brief Republican electors in states Trump won on Trump’s supposed ties to Russia.

In a statement, Podesta said, “The bipartisan electors’ letter raises very grave issues involving our national security. Electors have a solemn responsibility under the Constitution and we support their efforts to have their questions addressed.”

Yes, for the first time in history, Podesta has decided that the electors chosen through their states democratic processes are not qualified to make a presidential decision and must be briefed by intelligence first.

In a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, a few of Clinton’s electors wrote “The Electors require to know from the intelligence community whether there are ongoing investigations into ties between Donald Trump, his campaign or associates, and Russian government interference in the election.”

The problem here, is that this is simply another one of the Clinton team and Podesta’s strange stories rather than any fact at all.

This is the same Podesta which believed UFOs required real investigation by our national security teams. In 2014 while working as a counselor to President Obama, Podesta exchanged emails and indulged in conversations regarding the presence and threat of extraterrestrial life.

Even Clinton became hooked on the idea of an alien visit occurring during her lifetime. As the Huffington Post explained in Jan. 2016, both Bill and Hillary Clinton grew into UFO enthusiasts. At a campaign stop in New Hampshire, she declared, “I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

And just before Podesta took over as Clinton’s campaign head he publicly tweeted that after serving as Obama’s advisor for a year, “My biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the disclosure of the UFO files.”

Podesta might have decided to stay on Earth this time, but his call for the CIA to brief the Electoral College on accusations that Russia intervened in the election to secure a Trump victory is equally as ridiculous as his UFO delusions.

The most out of this world thing Podesta has said however is not that about UFOs or the CIA or even Russia, it was when he claimed this election would be a smooth transfer of power if Trump did not fight the results.

Despite outrage over the possibility of Trump not conceding election results immediately, this is exactly what the Clinton campaign is now doing. Clinton’s concession speech was not a concession speech at all if the campaign continues fighting the election results. Then she said, “I still believe in America, and I always will. And if you do, then we must accept this result and then look to the future. Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead. Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power.”

So much for that.

Podesta and the Clinton team have apparently entered a reality in which America can only survive if Clinton is president, and the team is willing to do anything to get her there — including diving into loony fringe conspiracy theories about Russia taking over.

Democrats now reaching out to support Podesta’s effort must realize, he is truly losing it.

Trump won. Clinton lost. Podesta needs to end his crusade and realize that Clinton will never be president. Maybe if he realized that the American people are more concerned about their own lives than extraterrestrial ones a few months earlier, the election result would have been more to his liking.
