Oil and gas leaders in New Mexico are raising concerns over President Joe Biden’s recent executive action that put a 60-day pause on new oil and gas leases on federal land. In New Mexico, the industry accounts for nearly one-third of the state’s general fund revenues, and industry officials said even a temporary halt on leasing will hurt the state. New Mexico went big for Biden in the election — stop whining. One industry official says the economy could be in even more trouble if President Biden bans new fracking on federal property – it would wipe out 62,000 jobs in a single year. It’s hard to feel sorry for any of these blue states who will suffer under Biden’s dim bulb energy plans. He’s been a job killer his entire career. What did these people think they were getting when they voted for Biden? As a career politician, he hasn’t created a single job – ever.
