Who me? I’m not the border czar says Kamala Harris? With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. As the Biden border crisis continues to worsen, vice president Harris is more worried about protecting her own reputation than protecting American citizens against illegal immigrants. Harris fed CNN a story this week distancing herself from the role of border czar and blaming Republicans for her failures. “And they made it seem as though vice president harris were going to be the new border czar and she was going to be responsible and be the envoy to border and be responsible essentially for all the problems that arise there.”
Not exactly a profile in courage. Harris claims her real job is to understand the “root causes” of migration. For Harris, those include climate change and violence against LGBTQ people.
