Recent news reports paint a picture of the United Kingdom in the most unflattering light. Throughout the nation, squads of police are literally attacking citizens who merely express an opinion that runs counter to the hyper-woke policies of the British government. These are not random or rare events. It is the clear policy of the government to stamp out any and all dissent to the radical and abusive policies of a government that has in effect declared war on its own people.
In just the last five years, over 62,000 people have been arrested for posts on social media or public speaking, according to data compiled by the London-based Free Speech Union. If someone — anyone — contends they “feel uncomfortable or intimidated” by a speaker, the speaker is shut down. No right to confront the accuser until formal charges are filed and a court date set. But, of course, at that point, the issue is likely moot — which is the whole point. There is no objective standard. Just the power of the police to silence anyone who is counter to the accepted language. This includes most Christian speakers and those who oppose the Open Borders policy the government is using to replace the British people with uneducated, Third World stock.
The end of Free Speech in the land of the Magna Carta is as shocking as it is sad. And, while the goal may be to build acceptance of policies and attitudes deemed “appropriate” by the ruling elite, the exact opposite is the likely outcome. If Hitler and Stalin were not able to totally eliminate internal dissent, even with the technological benefits enjoyed by today’s rulers, it is unlikely they will. The truth is that the Free Speech the elite are working overtime to kill is the only hope there is of building a cohesive society that can be forward-looking leading to increased happiness and prosperity for everyone.
With that in mind, resisting, blocking and eventually eliminating the speech controls in the UK are the essence of patriotism. Resistance is essential. But how resist?
There are the individuals who are, by their nature, a bit more obstreperous than most who simply act and let the chips falls where they may. And then, there are the young or uninformed who “slip” and say the wrong thing and make some wilting flower “feel” unsafe. There have been 62,000 of those in five years.
But what if there were 65,000 a year? What if tens or hundreds of thousands of British citizens decided to speak their minds, let the powerful elites know exactly what they think. What if there were three or four speakers reading from the Bible in every town square, local park and busy street? How would the government react to students in every high school and college confronting teachers with questions on the nature of Free Speech, their thoughts on the illegal immigration question or other woke topics? Can they jail them all? Can they expel them all? And if they tried, what would happen if there were more the next day? How would they respond to being jailed treated as a mark of honor rather than a life-long black mark?
This suggestion is hardly new or novel. Mahatma Ghandi used it very effectively against the British Empire to free itself from Imperial control. In the United States the same tactic was employed against the same imperial tyrant on tea and other goods. And, the theory has been expanded upon by two neo-Marxist academics to crush the system and force the government to expand welfare and socialist income support in the United States. This is known as the Cloward-Piven model. (Spoiler Alert: The first two examples were successful and the third was not but did have a measurable impact)
The goal is to so overwhelm the system that it cannot maintain its control without loosening or eliminating the offending policy. That would be the point. Every citizen who spoke would be another bit of pressure on a system that is already overstretched. The loss of legitimacy they have already suffered though the exposure of the lax law enforcement of the rape-grooming gangs has greatly reduced the social capital of the regime. Jailing thousands of citizens for merely speaking would risk a total break.
A force above politics is certainly responsible for the migrant invasions of Europe and the United States. The public opposes these schemes and are growing more and more harsh in their judgements of the political elites who continue to ignore the public while imposing an alien culture on the nation. This is true in the UK. It is true in most nations in Europe and was the entire impetus for the rise and success of Donald Trump in the U.S.
By blocking open dissent on this radical policy, by literally jailing people who want to express their opinion in opposition to the government actions, the governments in Europe and the rest of the Western World risk a great deal.
In March 1962, President John F. Kennedy said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” Kennedy was warning the smug and powerful that when leaders block peaceful social and economic reform, people may turn to violent uprisings out of desperation. In the current case, the “reforms” are a simple return to basic understanding of free speech and an end to the globalists’ insane and destructive policies of Open Borders and mass invasion.
The elite has been warned. And every newly imprisoned citizen becomes another martyr. Dissent will not disappear just because some thug in a black robe orders it so. It will inevitably find another outlet.
