President Joe Biden who often trashed Donald Trump’s policy ideas is now looking to use one of the most controversial ones! You probably wouldn’t be surprised that, with falling approval numbers over mishandling immigration, Biden appears to be looking to re-start Trump-era wall construction.

In 2019, she was outspoken about Trump-era immigration policy. Today, she seems to be less talkative about it and is unafraid to pat Biden on the back. Has she not been paying attention to what Biden has done regarding migrants?

After being exposed by conservative news outlets, Michigan State University has backed down from a highly offensive attempt to separate black and white attendees at an upcoming conference. With today’s ALG minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Officials planned to segregate participants based on their skin color to facilitate what they called affinity group conversations. An email promoting the event said – quote There will be an affinity group for white folx and an affinity group for people of color. Folks was spelled F-O-L-X. The university states the needs for such racial segregation by noting it will “advance racial equity,” adding “there is work for white people and people of color to do separately and together. For white people, an affinity group provides time and space to work explicitly and intentionally on understanding white culture and white privilege and to increase one’s critical analysis around these concepts. As a result of the College Fix new site media exposure the university has dropped the segregation plan.

A lot of corporate critics of Georgia’s new election integrity law are themselves incorporated in the business-friendly state of Delaware, which has several election provisions similar to, or even stricter, than those in Georgia. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Corporations such as Coca-Cola, Google, Cisco and Delta Airlines have criticized Georgia’s voting law as oppressive and discriminatory, arguing that the law —which includes photo ID requirements and new absentee voting restrictions—are an attempt to stifle the vote. Coke and Delta are headquartered in Georgia, yet they and several of the state’s other critics are legally incorporated in Delaware. Joe Biden’s home state requires voters provide an excuse for voting absentee. “No-excuse” absentee voting is widely championed by progressive activists as a key provision of establishing a system of permanent, mass voting by mail. Georgia’s law allows for “no-excuse” absentee voting. The hypocrisy runs deep for these woke corporations.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is peddling a Joe Biden scheme to have all the world’s developed nation’s promise to keep corporate tax rates high so that no country can get a tax advantage over another. Biden wants to hike U.S. corporate tax rates from 21 percent up to 28 percent – and impose a 21 percent minimum tax on U.S. companies foreign income and raise taxes on some foreign companies’ U.S. operations.

Ms. Yellen said in remarks to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs on Monday, “It is about making sure that governments have stable tax systems that raise sufficient revenue to invest in essential public goods and respond to crises, and that all citizens fairly share the burden of financing government.”

Biden may be a dolt, but he is no dummy. He knows that if his corporate tax hikes are enacted without a global minimum tax, a U.S. address becomes a potential disadvantage, meaning that foreign-owned businesses operating overseas could be significantly more profitable than competitors owned by U.S. companies.
