The Looney Tunes cartoon skunk who was popular when I was a kid was always pursuing a cat that looked like a skunk. Times columnist Charles M. Blow took to twitter claiming the skunk normalized rape culture.” After blowback, Blow took to Twitter to say – quote right-Le Pew grabs/kisses a girl/stranger, repeatedly, without consent and against her will. She struggles mightily to get away from him, but he won’t release her. He locks a door to prevent her from escaping. In 2018, author Richard Wright made the claim that watching Lew Pew – quote – merrily bouncing towards a terrified female black cat who had the misfortune of somehow getting a white stripe painted along her back – provided a cue that normalized rape culture and patriarchy. A middle school choir teacher in Minnesota recently taught a class full of sixth-graders about various “types of oppression” by separating students into “privileged” and “targeted” categories. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. This is the latest example of educators and administrators force-feeding critical race theory and progressive political ideology to young, impressionable students — often while the social engineering campaign goes completely unnoticed by parents. According to lesson plan documents obtained by The Blaze the teacher told students, “Last week, we talked about how hard it is to talk about race, and the level of difficulty is different for different people. For people who are privileged, it’s much easier to talk about race and other issues. For people who are not privileged, it’s much harder. Today, we will look at different types of oppression, and whether each of us is in the privileged group or the targeted group.” The chart listed five types of oppression for the students’ consideration: Racism, sexism, religious oppression, heterosexism, and xenophobia. A recent poll by Echelon Insights shows that Republicans are most concerned about solving big policy issue, while Democrat are focused almost solely on hating Republicans. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Echelon polled 1,005 registered voters and found that Republican voters are concerned about illegal immigration, lack of support for police, high taxes, left-wing media bias, the moral decline of the country, socialism, Antifa, China, late-term abortion, election fraud, tech censorship, and discrimination against Christians. Top concern for Democrat voters — no joke — Trump supporters. A full 82 percent of Democrats are extremely/very concerned with Trump supporters. So the thing freaking out the left more than anything else is the fact that … you and I exist, the fact that we Trump supporters share this country with them. It’s not Global Warming or world hunger. The Los Angeles School Board has approved a plan to cut one-third of its police budget. The money will be diverted to fund new programs under the new Black Student Achievement Plan. With Today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The board voted to cut 133 police officers and replace them with “climate coaches.” According to the plan, the ‘climate coaches’ are trained to implement “positive school culture and climate,” use “de-escalation strategies” to resolve conflict, understand and address “implicit bias.” The board said the cut to help black students feel safer. In the months after the Covid lockdowns closed the Los Angeles schools, the district saw burglaries on school property soar 700 percent. An official with the Los Angeles School Police Officers Association said budget cuts will lead to further crime – quote — especially once it gets out into the general public that there won’t be officers responding to these incidents. It emboldens those who are willing to commit crimes.
