South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham says a trio of Democratic bills passed by the House could radically change America. Graham called out the $1.9 trillion COVID stimulus bill noting that ninety percent of it has nothing to do with COVID. The legislation will forgive loans for farmers but only if they’re – quote – socially disadvantaged, if you’re African-American, some other minority, but if you’re a white person – no forgiveness. Graham also attacked H.R. 1, a bill that would legalize election fraud and abuse — calling it open borders for voting. Graham said under this measure, there would be no verification of who you are. Mail-in voting run rampant. Finally, the senator took aim at the Equality Act – a bill that does away with the distinction between being man and woman in the law. Biological boys will start playing in girls sports and if you’re a religious organization this bill would strip you of religious protections. Ebay this week announced it will purge the listing of six disputed Dr. Seuss books, even as it continues to allow the listing and sale of works such as Hitler’s antisemitic Nazi manifesto “Mein Kampf.” Hitler’s infamous vitriolic autobiography foreshadows his eventual attempt to exterminate the Jewish people in Europe. Also readily available on the site is the book “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” an anti-semitic conspiracy theory book that purported to reveal a Jewish plot for world domination. Bidders on eBay can also purchase “The Planter’s Northern Bride,” a U.S. pro-slavery novel as well as “Race Crossing in Jamaica,” a book of racist pseudoscience by the eugenicist Charles Davenport. Banned or challenged books are a common cultural flashpoint in the U.S., though it remains relatively rare for publishers to cease printing popular works as did Seuss Enterprises. Blow took to twitter claiming the skunk normalized rape culture.” After blowback, Blow took to Twitter to say – quote right-Le Pew grabs/kisses a girl/stranger, repeatedly, without consent and against her will. She struggles mightily to get away from him, but he won’t release her. He locks a door to prevent her from escaping. With the economy returning to life, it is clearer than ever, the goal of the Democrat Covid spending bill is no longer short-term economic aid — it is to expand and solidify the role of government as the guarantor of every American’s income unlinked to any obligation to work. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. That is the conclusion of the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board and Americans for Limited Government agrees. While Congress is still working on its $1.9 trillion spending bill, Democrats are already floating a sequel. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is promising another massive spending bill. Only a small part of what Democrats passed is for pandemic or economic relief. It’s mainly a down payment on their cradle-to-grave welfare-entitlement state. Most of the $1.9 trillion will flow to government unions or supposedly temporary income transfers that Democrats intend to make permanent later this year. Just the latest example of the Democrat’s promise to never let a crisis go to waste.
