News broke this morning that Charlie Crist, establishment candidate for U.S. Senate in Florida, has pulled all of his T.V. ads off the air. This can mean a couple of things such as campaign funds have dried up–but more likely is that he will soon be dropping out.
The blogosphere is going crazy with theories. But the biggest guessing game right now is whether or not he will run as an independent. Rumor has it that he will not, and rumor also has it that he will.
Bill Wilson, President of Americans for Limited Government said, “This is the best example of how toxic it is for establishment candidates. Crist may be the first of many to meet this end.”
