In the mold of Obama, when Bob McDonnell came to power in Virginia he went after the jobs/unemployment problem with “solutions” that only Big Government could provide.
Consider one of his big highlights that he often touts. Bob McDonnell handed Northrop Grumman $14 million in taxpayer funded handouts to move 300 jobs to Virginia. Oddly, Northrop Grumman has announced some layoffs that offset a good portion of that “job creation” that McDonnell claims as his success. McDonnell and his chief jobs creation officer Bill Bolling seem to have forgotten that government cannot create jobs.

Herndon-based Northrop Grumman says it’s laying off 173 people in Virginia.
Northrop Grumman announced the layoff Friday. The company says the employees work at Fort Eustis, where Northrop Grumman provides maintenance, transportation and other services.
Great work, Bob! How’s that Keynesian economics working for you?
The difference between Obama and McDonnell is that Obama campaigned on being a Big Government liberal.
