Cronyism: Washington Post and CBS Receive Funds from ObamaCare Slush Fund

The Washington Post and CBS have been receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (EERP), a slush fund created through ObamaCare that goes out to companies, labor unions and states to pay for health care benefits of retirees that retire before their Medicare eligibility age.

The Daily Caller’s Matt Boyle reported that the Washington Post received $573,217 and CBS received $722,388–all of which is taxpayer money.

The Obama administration decides which labor unions, companies, and states receive the funds.
