Disrespectful: MSNBC’s Martin Bashir apologizes to viewers for Charles Krauthammer’s appearance

Martin BashirIt’s hard to imagine how MSNBC could stoop any lower, but they never cease to amaze. MSNBC anchor Martin Bashir showed a clip of Charles Krauthammer that he then apologized afterwards to the viewers for having shown them Krauthammer’s face.

Noel Sheppard put it best:

The childish unprofessionalism on display at MSNBC is becoming breathtaking.

Anchor Martin Bashir on Wednesday jokingly apologized to young viewers who might have been “frightened by” Charles Krauthammer’s face in a video clip that was aired on his show.

While speaking about the election with GQ’s Ana Marie Cox and the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart, Bashir asked, “Do Republicans understand what has happened? Let’s listen to the great Charles Krauthammer.”

This evoked laughter from Cox and Capehart.

After playing a Fox News video clip of Krauthammer commenting about Tuesday’s election results, Bashir said, “Now I need to apologize to any young viewers who may have been frightened by that face.”

This again evoked laughter from Cox.

Honestly, is this what MSNBC considers journalism today?

MSNBC always talks about how they are the network for those who are accepting of everyone. But their actions speak louder than their words. And Martin Bashir has made offensive remarks before that he has had to apologize for. They have proven time and again to be biased, unprofessional and offensive. It’s no surprise that most people choose to watch any other news network than MSNBC.
