Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida revealed in a stunning speech on the House floor that he had received a death threat from a hitman via Twitter and that the Department of Justice is refusing to investigate it. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen.

“This is just yet, another example of the Department of Justice having a double standard. If my name weren’t Gaetz, if it were Omar or Talib, you bet this person would have been arrested because that is what the Capitol Police recommended. But the Department of Justice doesn’t seem to care so much when it is a Republican.”
Gaetz said a Twitter user from Portland, Oregon using the handle “CIABOBISATYOURDOOR” stated that someone had taken out a hit on Gaetz and that he had taken the job. The threat was posted on Oct. 8. That account has since been suspended by Twitter. The point is. – the Biden justice department is ignoring the radicals on the left at every instance.

Fauci allegedly backed funding that was used for cruel experiments on Beagle Puppies

“According to documents obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request by taxpayer watchdog group White Coat Waste Project, and subsequent media coverage, from October 2018 until February 2019, NIAID spent $1.68 million in taxpayer funds on drug tests involving 44 beagle puppies. The dogs were all between six and eight months old. The commissioned tests involved injecting and force-feeding the puppies an experimental drug for several weeks, before killing and dissecting them,” the letter from 24 lawmakers read.

The ladies of the View weren’t expecting this from former Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. In a discussion about Critical Race Theory, Rice rejected C-R-T- nonsense.

“My parents never thought I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me, ‘That’s somebody else’s problem, not yours. You are going to overcome it and you are going to be anything you want to be.’ And that is the message that I think we ought to be sending to kids. One of the worries that I have about the way that we are talking about race is that it either seems so big that somehow white people feel guilty for everything that happened in the past, and I don’t think that’s very productive or white people have to feel disempowered by race.”

Rice is spot on. Lumping children into groups denies them of their individual worth and divine potential.

A top NIH official admits in a letter that U.S. taxpayers funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses in Wuhan and revealed that EcoHealth Alliance, the U.S. non-profit that funneled NIH money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was not transparent about the work it was doing.

Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) has introduced legislation that would ensure the federal government is not incentivizing schools to teach Critical Race Theory. He has also introduced a bill to protect free speech on college campuses.

Florida is stepping up to help with the nation’s supply chain crisis. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that Florida Seaports have open capacity and can meet holiday demand, while other seaports across the country are struggling to keep up.

“In California, they just announced they are going to start operating their ports twenty-four seven. Our ports have always operated twenty-four seven, that should be happening anyways. And so, we in Florida, have the ability to help alleviate these log jams and help to ameliorate the problems with the supply chain and part of it is because we’ve long been committed to reliable modern and accessible port facilities.”

Since 2019, Florida has invested nearly $1 billion into its seaports to ensure there is capacity to serve as much cargo as possible. The state has also invested in infrastructure to make sure roadways are capable of handling the demand of today’s freight movements.
