In New York City nearly 7 in ten young Black Americans are unvaccinated.

“It’s not right to exclude people from everyday activities if they choose not to engage in something they have every reason to doubt. The government’s story on the vaccine has changed every one to two months since Donald Trump. The vaccine has had effects that people come out and say, ‘Well, you know, that never happens.’ But they do happen. People die. Joe Biden said folks wouldn’t be hospitalized. People are hospitalized and dying. We, as Black people, have every reason not to trust the vaccines. I’m not telling you not to get it. I’m just saying, you should have a choice.

The battle over new congressional district lines is underway – and it’s not pretty. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. In New York, Ohio and Virginia, commissions meeting for the first time this year have splintered into partisan camps to craft competing redistricting maps based on 2020 census data. The divisions have disappointed some activists who supported the reforms and highlighted how difficult it can be to purge politics from the once-a-decade process of realigning boundaries for U.S. House and state legislative seats. As a result, the new state House and Senate districts in Republican-led Ohio will still favor the GOP. Democrats who control New York could still draw maps as they wish. And a potential stalemate in Virginia could eventually kick the process to the courts. Colorado, whose districts were redrawn by a “nonpartisan” commission, just finished drawing a map that places conservative Representative Lauren Boebert in a decidedly Democratic district. When Feds throw an entrapment party and no one shows up! With Today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Turns out there were more members of law enforcement and the media than actual attendees at the Justice for J6 rally. Authorities erected temporary fencing around the Capitol and deployed heavy dump trucks to ring the rally site, while local police departments and the National Guard were on standby. In one comical scene that’s gone viral on social media, it appears law enforcement detained an undercover agent posing as a Proud Boy. It would appear our government was hoping to entrap peaceful protestors – but failed. The honest, law-abiding Americans who showed up to the event want justice for those still detained for non-violent offenses surrounding the January sixth capitol breach. Our fellow citizens have been jailed too long or have suffered other mistreatments that defy their constitutional rights. Is Joe Biden’s presidency hanging by a thread? With today’s Americas for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Biden’s entire legislative agenda sits on the knife’s edge of total failure. The passage of the three-point five trillion dollar budget bill – and the smaller bipartisan infrastructure bill passed by the Senate earlier this summer is not looking good. The radicals already believe they have compromised enough. They are refusing to back the one trillion dollar bipartisan infrastructure bill that has a hard deadline to be voted on of September twenty-seventh unless the larger budget bill is passed first. That’s not going to happen. The budget bill just has too many moving parts for everyone to come together. There would still be a chance to salvage the situation if Joe Biden’s popularity was on the rise, not at an all-time low. Democratic House members in competitive races next year are not likely to do Biden any favors when he’s likely to drag them down to defeat if they appear to be too close to him. The Associated Press reports that the White House reached out to union presidents before Biden announced his sweeping vaccine mandates and will continue to check in with labor leaders. Is this what we’re supposed to accept as “following the science” inside the Biden White House? The vaccine mandates were supposed to be the Fauci-approved, scientific method of combatting “the epidemic of the unvaccinated,” right? You’ll notice that the police unions aren’t receiving this sort of red carpet treatment. Biden’s party isn’t exactly wild about the police these days, seeking to defund, if not abolish them. That’s why some of them are having to go to court to fight these mandates. It’s not just Americans who are rejecting Big Government vaccine mandates. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The streets of France are flooded for the ninth straight week with protesters against President Emmanuel Macron’s vaccine passport scheme, with an estimated one-hundred-and-twenty-one thousand demonstrators marching throughout the country, including about nineteen-thousand in Paris. In the French capital, there were four demonstrations against the vaccine passport on Saturday, with demonstrators chanting “Macron, your pass, we do not want it,” “Macron, resign,” and “no to dictatorship.” One protester told a French broadcaster – quote – My fear is the total loss of freedoms and the vaccination of children. I don’t want to be forced to show a QR code to go out, I want to keep my privacy confidential. Aside from the draconian health pass system, the demonstrators also protested against the upcoming vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, which is set to be imposed on September 15th.
