The release of confidential tax returns for some of the wealthiest Americans sparked controversy last week, and now Senate Republicans are demanding answers. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Senate Republicans sent a letter to the inspector general for tax issues calling for an investigation after ProPublica obtained and released tax returns of wealthy Americans, information that is supposed to remain confidential. That story included information about Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Tesla’s Elon Musk, among others, showing many paid very little or no taxes at all. According to the senator’s letter, ProPublica’s description of the data strongly suggests that the information originated from within the IRS. If this is true, this constitutes a serious breach of privacy and is a criminal violation of our tax laws. It would be one of the most significant and widespread breaches in the agency’s history and considerably damages the foundational bedrock of our tax system, including American taxpayers’ confidence that the IRS will keep their personal information confidential. Viewers Reject LGBTQA agenda for children. There’s growing evidence that Nickelodeon’s hard push to promote the LGBTQA agenda to children is having a negative impact on the network’s ratings. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. In the last two weeks, both Nickelodeon and its preschool-targeted network, Nick Jr., have released videos championing “trans,” “queer,” and “pansexual” inclusion. One video that sparked mass outrage depicted a cartoon version of a drag queen singing about various LGBTQA groups “[loving] each other so proudly” on “Blues Clues and You,” a show for two- to five-year olds. That same video showed a female-to-male transgender beaver who appeared to have post-operative surgical scars on its chest. These latest videos come after the network began overtly celebrating “Pride” month several years ago and implied in 2020 that its most popular character, SpongeBob SquarePants, is gay. Since July of 2017, Nickelodeon’s viewership has dropped from 1.3 million average viewers per week to a June of 2021 average of only 372,000. Bongino.com reports small businesses are being crushed in a big way. We wonder if the big, blue states have re-opened too late or if the labor shortage and inflation will be too much. This is sad news for a nation that loves small business.

Take Action to Create an Independent Commission

Are Dr. Fauci and other so-called experts part of a Covid cover-up? With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. It is clear we are not getting the truth out of China, and now it appears we are not getting the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from Fauci. In questioning from Sen. Rand Paul last month Fauci, claimed the National Institutes of Health has never and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But we know that federal grants were given to subcontractors working with the notorious lab. The only way we’er going to get to the bottom of the origins of the Covid virus and the U.S. involvement in the gain of function research in Wuhan is through an independent commission. This week Americans for Limited Government is asking you to send an email to your Senators and Congressman asking them to support H.R. 834- a measure which would create a bipartisan commission to look at the origins of the virus. Woke activists working in the bowels of the Deep State leaked IRS tax filings of wealthy individuals to the media last week. What are we to make of this? With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. ProPublica – the recipient of the leaked documents – claims not to know who provided the confidential tax data of thousands of wealthy American citizens, many who paid little or no federal income taxes. The left-leaning media outlet acknowledges it ran its piece even though its source could have been a “state actor hostile to American interests” that hacked the private data. The more likely scenario is that a federal employee compiled the information, identified a media operation that could be relied on to disregard privacy rights and then dumped the data at a moment carefully timed to aid Joe Biden’s tax-hike agenda. Corporate Media obsessed over rumors of Trump allegedly using the ‘N-word’ but has mostly ignored Hunter Biden Texts. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Earlier this week, the UK Daily Mail reported that Hunter Biden had used the “N-word” repeatedly in text messages with attorney who is white. The text messages were downloaded from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. Hunter Biden’s father, President Joe Biden, is already known to have used the “N-word” often as a Democratic Senator, typically while attributing it to other people. But Trump is not known to have used the word. Though CBS News, reported in 2018 that a disgruntled former White House staffer claimed to have knowledge of tape recording of Trump using the N-word. CBS downplayed the fact that staffers later said no such tape existed. The use of the “N-word,” is often used as grounds for termination and marginalization — at least when the speaker is white.
