Kory Yeshua, an advocate for freedom and individual liberty, is making waves on social media with a short video he recently posted with his six-year-old daughter in which he explains why he rejects Critical Race Theory.

A new pandemic-era accessory is all the rage. With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. As the country starts to reopen and people are gathering in large groups again — you might see people wearing bright red, yellow, and green wristbands or stickers to signal whether they want others to come physically close or stay the heck away. Modeled on traffic lights: Red means “no contact” with “no exceptions.” Yellow means “elbow only,” as in stick to the elbow bump. As for green, the sign says: “Hugs welcome.” Office managers, convention planners and party hosts are distributing color-coded wristbands, stickers or lanyards designed to signal preferences without the awkward conversations. The new stickers and wristbands are typically optional, though organizers say they are quite popular. The whole thing is just plain weird, if you ask me. It’s time to put the pandemic behind us and live our lives as we always did — knowing there is risk in everything we do — and being okay with that. Life is not a risk-free experience. COVID-19 Has Forever Destroyed Americans’ Trust in ‘the Experts.’ With today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The overwhelming majority of lawmaking at the federal level no longer takes place in Congress as the Constitution’s framers intended. Instead, the vast majority of the “rulemaking” governing Americans’ day-to-day lives now takes place behind closed doors, deep in the bowels of the administrative state’s sprawling bureaucracy. As the size of the federal bureaucracy ballooned, we were told they were the experts and we had to trust them. But the so-called experts failed us spectacularly during COVID dealing an irreparable blow to the credibility of America’s ruling class. American politics is currently in the throes of a populist moment. That populist moment is characterized by widespread distrust of elites and growing gap between the ruling class and the wishes of the American people.
