Left wing economists are downplaying the economic devastation caused by Covid lockdowns claiming that ALL states are hurting economically because of COVID. NOT TRUE. With the ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. “Let us state the point very slowly and concisely so our liberal friends understand what is going on here. These are the things we know with virtual certainty after 10 months of the virus.”

Lockdowns have had very limited impact in reducing death rates from the virus, in fact, harder lockdowns correlate with slightly more deaths. The only statistically significant impact of lockdowns is they do SEVERE and potentially long-term damage to the local and state businesses and workers where they are enforced. Almost all of the severe lockdowns are in blue states with Democratic governors and these are the states with VERY HIGH unemployment rates. An Obama retread tells America things could get worse. Tips for surviving Biden’s ‘dark winter. With the ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Former UN ambassador Susan Rice, slated to become a Domestic Policy advisor if Joe Biden assumes the White House, is warning that Covid “is not the big one” and that a future pandemic could be worse. Rice is picking up where Biden left off in the last presidential debate in which he warned Americans, “We’re about to go into a dark winter. A dark winter.” All of this gloom and doom is exhausting and psychologically wearing.

Here are three tips to help us survive and thrive during what could be four long years of negative news.

Avoid steady diet of negative, fear-inducing news. it leads to a sense of helplessness.

Focus on what we can control and look for opportunities to have a positive effect on people and situations around you.
Finally avoid isolation by staying connected to like-minded friends.

Sorry, Democrats, What Goes Around, Comes Around. If Democrats truly want the country to heal, or to ever be believed again, they first need to stop lying. With the ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Democrats cannot understand why Republicans would question the election results in spite of the fact that Democrats sought to undermine anti-voter fraud measures in the run-up to the election; that Republican observers were not allowed to observe vote counting; and that massive numbers of Biden votes were counted in the middle of the night while no Republican observers were present. Of course, in recent years, Democrats have repeatedly disputed unfavorable election results and pushed wild conspiracy theories. When George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in 2000, Democrats claimed that Bush had cheated and was illegitimate. In 2016, when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton, Democrats quickly claimed that Russians had stolen the election and refused to accept that Trump had won.
