Florida Governor Ron DeSantis delivered a blistering critique of President Joe Biden and his authoritarian policies, warning Americans they need to fight against the radical left to preserve our freedom. Speaking to supporters of The Heritage Foundation DeSantis took aim at Biden’s recently announced COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

“I resolved in the state of Florida we would be a free state. We would not descend into a Faucian dystopia in which people’s freedoms were curtailed and their livelihoods were ruined. We chose freedom over Faucism and we’re better off for it. In fact, you will never see this on the media, for the last several weeks, Florida has had the lowest COVID rates in the nation!”

In closing, DeSantis warned, If the federal government can get away with this, they’re going to be able to get away with a lot more.

The recent surge in fentanyl seizures shows cartels are taking advantage of President Biden’s lax border policies, according to Department of Homeland Security officials.

Senator Mike Lee – Republican of Utah – has introduced 12 bills that would protect Americans from Covid mandates and empower them with information about the vaccine – all 12 have been REJECTED. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen.

“Deep down they know that something is terribly wrong whenever one person and with the stroke of the executive pen can issue so broad, so deep, and so immoral a mandate. I’m not going to stand for this. I’ll be back. I’ll be back tomorrow. I’ll be back the next day. I’ll be back as often as it takes, as long as it takes. I’m not going to stop until we win this fight.”

Following a federal appeals court ruling putting a hold on Biden’s unconstitutional mandates, OSHA has suspended all enforcement. At least 27 U.S. states, as well as private employers, religious organizations, and other groups, have sued the Biden administration, claiming that it’s exceeding its authority in issuing the mandate.

As gas prices approach four-dollars-a-gallon, the White House is stupidly chasing windmills and other unreliable energy sources. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. When asked about relief from high gas prices, White House spokesperson Jen Psaki said

“Our view is that the rise in gas prices over the long term makes an even stronger case for doubling down our investment and our focus on clean energy options so that we are not relying on the fluctuations and OPEC and their willingness to supply and meet the demands of the market. That’s our view.”

The White House should resume new federal leasing, right now, as ordered by a federal court. It should stop talking about measures that would single out the natural gas and oil industry for higher taxes, discouraging new investment and production. It should support safe and responsible infrastructure upgrades and new construction.
The administration should stop looking to foreign suppliers for help and focus on what can be done here at home to increase U.S. energy security and benefit American consumers.

Dozens of Americans charged in the January 6 Capitol breach remain behind bars in the DC jail — and they have a message for us. With today’s Americans for Limited Government minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. NewsMax TV interviewed one of those inmates — 71-year old Army veteran Lonnie Coffman. He says he has not been able to attend church services or even get a haircut or a shave since being incarcerated. He said he’s also struggled to get appropriate medical care for pre-existing health problems. Most of all he doesn’t want to be forgotten.

We are patriots and we love our country. We even sing the national anthem every night at nine o’clock. And we need the American people to know that’s the truth of the matter and we need the American people to support us.”

Capitol riot suspects have complained about being the target of harassment and intimidation by jail guards and, in at least one case, a beating. Some say they’re viewed as white supremacists by the employees at the jail and have become targets for abuse as a result.
