In striking down affirmative action schemes at universities and colleges, the Supreme Court has ended a practice that pitted applicants against one another based on group identities rather than individual achievement and potential.

On this Fourth of July I want to share a more personal message than I typically do — because the court’s ruling is personal to me.

Students should be judged as INDIVIDUALS — not on the basis of a group identity.

And that is what it means to be an American – to stand and be judged on our own merits — our own accomplishments.

Every day another shoe drops on the Biden family’s criminal probe –seriously, how many shoes does this family have? I follow this stuff pretty closely and even I cannot keep up with all the whistleblowers that have come forward to testify — and all the outrageous, treasonous, credible allegations of felony crimes. The lack of accountability is mind blowing — don’t even get me started on that Hunter Biden plea deal. I don’t think there is a single American who believes justice was served. What happened there was a joke. Hunter got a slap on the wrist for doing what any one of us would have been thrown in prison for a decade – at least.

In Jan. 2021, average weekly earnings were growing at 7.36 percent annualized, dropping to 4.55 percent in June 2021 as millions more reentered the labor force and staying down there at 4.8 percent by June 2022. Even now, as annualized inflation has slowed down to 4 percent currently, so too have wages, to 3.3 percent growth over the past twelve months. Simply put, under “Bidenomics,”—a phrase the White House is actually touting—the American people are falling behind, even as Jean-Pierre tried to say they were not: “what we have seen, even before the pandemic, is we’ve seen Americans and American families being left behind.” But during the later Obama and Trump years, for the most part, nominal incomes were growing faster than prices. Now, it’s the opposite.

Blackrock’s Larry Fink wants to rebrand ESG as ‘decarbonization… governance … or social issues’. It’s still the same exact thing.

“I’m not going to use the word ESG because it’s been misused by the far left and the far right.” That was Blackrock CEO Larry Fink on June 25 at Aspen Ideas Festival attempting to put some distance between himself and the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investment model that directs investor funds to companies not for profit per se, but to achieve equity: for the climate and social justice for minorities, for women, transgenders, gays and so forth. He also said he was “ashamed” to be a part of the discussion around ESG. Trillions of dollars have flown through funds like Blackrock and Vanguard to restrict carbon energy production to bolster green alternatives, use racial and sexual hiring quotas to achieve race and gender equity and so forth, sparking backlash from consumers, investors and elected leaders who do not embrace what they perceive to be a radical social and political agenda. Instead of Environmental, Social and Governance, or ESG, Fink proposed: “we talk a lot about decarbonization, we talk a lot about governance … or social issues, if that’s something we need to address…” Which is exactly the same thing. Literally the same thing.
