Global Warming in the Hot Seat

“It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don’t buy into anthropogenic global warming.” – U.S Government Atmospheric Scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of NOAA.

According to one Washington Post writer, as overwhelming evidence “mounts” to the contrary, only a mere “handful” of “Global Warming” skeptics remain out there. If this is the case, then it’s quite a significantly large handful.

In another story that made headlines on the Drudge Report and other alternative news outlets—yet was curiously absent from most of the Mainstream Media reporting—more than 650 international scientists have publically voiced their dissent regarding the so-called “consensus” over man-made global warming.

Released on Thursday of last week, the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Minority Staff Report told the unsung tale of the dissident—i.e., objective—scientists, building on a similar 2007 report in which 400 prominent scientists openly disputed the claims over man-made climate change. It’s apparent now that an increasingly larger number of scientists are feeling emboldened to break from their peer-pressured silence, resist the status-quo, and do what scientists do best—provide a non-biased analysis rooted in facts and free of ideology.

It’s quite reassuring that someone is still up to the job.

And the quotes from the scientists in the U.S. Senate Minority Report are absolute gems. The following are a series of some of the most notable statements regarding the growing dissent:

Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.” – UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

“Anyone who claims that the debate is over and the conclusions are firm has a fundamentally unscientific approach to one of the most momentous issues of our time.” – Solar physicist Dr. Pal Brekke, senior advisor to the Norwegian Space Centre in Oslo. Brekke has published more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles on the sun and solar interaction with the Earth.

“For how many years must the planet cool before we begin to understand that the planet is not warming? For how many years must cooling go on?” – Geologist Dr. David Gee the chairman of the science committee of the 2008 International Geological Congress who has authored 130 plus peer reviewed papers, and is currently at Uppsala University in Sweden.

One scientist even echoed the argument that ALG News Bureau has been making from months. As Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, said:

“I am a skeptic…Global warming has become a new religion.”

Much to the dismay of the liberal polar-bear-politicians, Green nuts, and Al Gore disciples, the ever-expanding “Global Warming” skeptic crowd represents not merely a fringe and constitutes much more than “handful” of people. They are the real scientists and, like others before them, are willing to take a stand for the truth—even if fame, career, money, and reputation are the costs.

Fortunately, however, coming out against “Global Warming” paranoia is steadily shedding its taboo image.

In a strange and paradoxical twist, the “Global Warming” “scientists” have become the religious zealots, forsaking reason and objectivity in favor of an ideologically driven—and occasionally monetarily reinforced—agenda. As one award-winning paleontologist remarked:

“The [global warming] scaremongering has its justification in the fact that it is something that generates funds.”

And like history’s most notorious religious zealots, nothing but wrath is reserved for the infidels. Even the great Al Gore had something to say with regard to such bothersome heretics:

“I think that those people are in such a tiny, tiny minority now with their point of view. They’re almost like the ones who still believe that the moon landing was staged in a movie lot in Arizona and those who believe the earth is flat. That demeans them a little bit, but it’s not that far off.”

So as the so-called “scientists” wallow in their dereliction, the fate of America’s energy policies hinges on the “handful” of 650 scientists and other currently silent skeptics to speak up and take a stand for the truth. If not, America will fall to the lie.

After all, for Al Gore and the rest of these liberal, intolerant ideologues, their “scientific objectiveness” amounts to little more than a handful.
