FrackNation tells truth Hollywood tries to hide

By Rick Manning — Hollywood is doing everything they can to kill the hydraulic fracturing technique for releasing oil and natural gas out of the ground in quantities that are beyond any futurist’s imagination.  The recent Matt Damon box office failure Promised Land even reportedly changed its ending when the facts got in the way of their neatly packaged attempt to demonize the fossil fuel extraction method.

The fact that the movie was paid for by the United Arab Emirates, a leading Middle East oil producer reveals the even shadier truth.  Foreign oil interests are investing the money they make from America’s dependence on Middle East oil back into our nation to try to kill the development of honest, real alternative sources of oil and natural gas.

Incredibly, rather than embracing this private sector miracle, the same far left crazies who have been conducting a jihad against coal production are turning their sites on “fracking.”

Thirty years ago, natural gas was viewed as the clean energy solution by these same folks, but something has changed.  Natural gas and indeed oil itself, is becoming more plentiful and abundant domestically, and suddenly, fighting against the extraction method that not only has created the glut, but also thousands of jobs in places like North Dakota.

Now, there is a movie, FrackNation, which tells the other side of the story.  It features ordinary Americans in Dimock, Pennsylvania, who are on the front lines of the fight to keep environmentalists and their funders from killing America’s new energy boom – a boom that has the potential to make America energy independent by 2020.

Ginni Thomas of the Daily Caller interviewed FrackNation producer Ann McElhinney about the movie, where she revealed that the lies underlying the Academy Award nominated anti-fracking documentary, Gasland motivated her and her husband, Phelim McAleer to produce the movie to get the truth out.

The movie will be debuted on Mark Cuban’s AXS channel on Tuesday, January 22 at 9 p.m. EST, and it dispels the myths being promoted by the left.  Not shockingly, the “media” has avoided examining the facts behind fracking as they have deliberately censored real people who live with and support hydraulic fracturing because, as McElhinney states, “it doesn’t fit their narrative.”

Anyone who wants to learn more about this important conversation about our nation’s energy potential and those who seek to stop it, needs to watch FrackNation.

Why is natural gas and oil production so important?

Natural gas burns clean.  This means that if automobiles were converted over to natural gas, the entire air pollution from cars issue virtually goes away.  Even President Obama has called America the Saudi Arabia of natural gas.  Yet, his allies on the left are dedicated to destroying our nation’s capacity to tap into this resource blessing.

Minot, North Dakota, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Youngstown, Ohio are experiencing a resurgence, at least, in part due to the cheap energy provided through fracking.

The only question is will Americans fall for another big lie, and kill the goose that laid the golden egg, or will they get informed and get active in support of an independent energy future that promises to rebuild our nation’s manufacturing economy.
