Manning on LaCrosse Talk with Mike Hayes: Election integrity comes down to three things

If you want election security and integrity, the best security is to show up and vote in-person, and expand the number of polling places. Vote in person, show an ID and may the best person win.

Mike Hayes: People are already concerned about the integrity of the next election. Rick Manning, how do you think our elections should be run?

Rick Manning: I think voting by mail should be rare. For one thing, when you vote by mail, you don’t get two to three weeks of information about the candidates that you are voting on. It’s like taking a final exam three quarters of the way through a course. You are depriving yourself of information.

Mike Hayes: A perfect example of that from the last election related to the Hunter Biden stories that were suppressed by the media and a lot of people said, “If I had know that about Biden and his family and Hunter and their connections to China, and Russia, etc, etc and his laptop, I would not have voted for Biden.”

Rick Manning: A lot of people didn’t vote FOR Biden, so much as they voted against mean tweets. They voted against all the constant turmoil and they wanted to get to a point where they could “just relax” and not have to worry about life. Well, folks, do you feel relaxed, yet?

If you want election security and integrity, the best security is to show up and vote in-person, and expand the number of polling places. Vote in person, show an ID and may the best person win.

Mike Hayes: We have a headline out of Chicago that police won’t go into work this weekend. That city is already scary. This weekend could be super scary if half of the police force stays home.

Rick Manning: It’s a real thing. We know that Seattle police could lose forty percent of their remaining police force due to vaccine firings. The vaccinators are so insane in their insistence, they are willing to destroy public safety. They are willing to make it so we don’t have enough airline pilots to fly the planes and not enough healthcare works to run the hospitals.”
