The governors of Texas and Mississippi both announced this week they would be lifting their states’ mask mandates and rolling back many of their Covid-19 health mandates. This is part of a growing movement across the country from lawmakers, governors, and citizens to curtail emergency orders that have robbed Americans of individual liberties and freedoms for nearly a year.

Renz’s grassroots group, Make Americans Free Again, seeks to put citizens back in charge. “We’re no one special. But that’s the greatness of America, you don’t have to be someone special to fight back.” He encourages activism at the local level, within your circle of friends and neighbors.

“Get people friends, family, two, three, five, 10 people, whatever you can get, get them together, have a meeting without masks, have a meeting openly, talk to each other. Pretend you’re human beings again. Once you start organizing and spreading the word, we’re looking at from there, we want you to start taking action steps.”

Renz said one of the easiest steps a group can take is part of the Small Business Rescue Program. “All the small businesses that are being crushed, get your group together and plan to go to a single restaurant or a single small business and spend some money there.”

President Biden and Senator Mitt Romney have both proposed expanding tax-credits that would send almost every parent $250 or more a month. With Today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Under Biden’s plan, families with two children would typically receive about $7,200 a year. Under Romney’s plan—$8,400. That’s less than the $12,000 per adult in universal basic income proposed by Andrew Yang, former Democratic presidential candidate. But it’s a lot of money to a lot of parents, regardless of whether they work and almost regardless of how much they earn. Both Biden’s and Romney’s proposals would pay the credit each month. The main aim of their proposals is to reduce child poverty, which is higher in the U.S. than in most advanced countries. Both would slash the number of children in poverty by around 3 million, or a third, according to the Niskanen Center. I question how we can ensure that money is actually benefitting children and not simply going to support a parent’s bad habits. For more check us out at the Daily Torch.com.

A senior advisor to Joe Biden says the coronavirus was “the best that ever happened” to Joe Biden, alluding to the impact of the pandemic on the voting public. With Today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The remark appears in a new book: Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency. It’s the first major book released on the 2020 presidential contest. The Guardian obtained a copy prior to publication. “It was, the authors add, a necessarily private comment that ‘campaign officials believed but would never say in public.’” Anita Dunn, co-chair of Biden’s transition team and interim press secretary, is quoted as saying: the rampant pandemic undermined then-President Donald Trump’s solid economic achievements. Sounds to me like Biden used the crisis and suffering of the public in the opportunistic pursuit of power. If Dunn’s name is familiar… you may remember her from a 2009,video clip where she expressed admiration for Chinese Communist mass-murderer Maozedong, calling him “one of my favorite political philosophers.”

A recent poll by Echelon Insights shows that Republicans are most concerned about solving big policy issue, while Democrat are focused almost solely on hating Republicans. Echelon polled 1,005 registered voters and found that Republican voters are concerned about illegal immigration, lack of support for police, high taxes, left-wing media bias, the moral decline of the country, socialism, Antifa, China, late-term abortion, election fraud, tech censorship, and discrimination against Christians. Top concern for Democrat voters — no joke — Trump supporters. A full 82 percent of Democrats are extremely/very concerned with Trump supporters. So the thing freaking out the left more than anything else is the fact that … you and I exist, the fact that we Trump supporters share this country with them. It’s not Global Warming or world hunger. bonginoGarland said, “I understand that [Special Counsel John Durham] has been permitted to remain his position and sitting here today, I have no reason to think that that was not the correct decision… I don’t have any reason to think that he should not remain in place.” Durham is investigating the origins of the investigation into former President Donald Trump in 2016 on false allegations he and his campaign were Russian agents who helped Moscow hack the Democratic National Committee and put the emails onto Wikileaks. Garland also appeared to say that he wouldn’t block any report from Durham from being issued, telling Grassley, “I am a great believer in transparency. I would, though, have to talk with Mr. Durham and understand the nature of what he has been doing and the nature of the report. I am very much committed to transparency and to explaining Justice Department decision-making.” Later, in follow up question from Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Garland was clear that he is not yet ready to make a full decision about Durham, stating, “I have to be there and learn what’s going on, before I can make a decision. But as I said, I have no reason to doubt that the decision to keep him in place, and to continue his investigation, was in any way wrong.” So, here, again, Garland would not fully commit to allowing Durham to see the investigation through. He’s holding out the possibility that Durham could be removed. Why?

Calls former military and law enforcement officers White Supremacists

President Joe Biden says former military and former police officers are fueling the “growth of white supremacy.”With Today’s ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen.

Biden told a CNN Town Hall that he got involved in politics, to begin with because of civil rights and opposition to white supremacist. He says groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and others whom he considers the most dangerous people on America continue to exist. That is the greatest threat of terror in America, domestic terror. He promised that – quote – HIS Justice Department and the Civil Rights Division is focused heavily on those very folks. went on to say – quote – these guys are not and women they are in fact demented. They are dangerous people.”

This is incredibly offensive to me and millions of Americans who have served their country or had family members who served — either in law enforcement or in the military. Joe Biden is the real threat to our freedoms. For more check us out at the Daily torch.com
