If former Vice President Joe Biden, who routinely takes time off from the presidential campaign, governs the way he campaigns, at best he’ll be a part-time President. That’s too bad. Because if Biden wins, being President is a full-time job. Just ask President Donald Trump, who just contracted the Chinese coronavirus and has kept right on working through it after briefly being admitted to Walter Reed Medical Center. Biden, who at 77 years old would be the oldest President ever elected, already appears to be semi-retired, only apparently seeking one term of office. He’s been called a potential “transition president.” With threats emerging from China, Iran and elsewhere, and ongoing damage being wrought by the pandemic and the lockdowns, the American people cannot afford to have as president somebody who is not fully committed to the task at hand.

Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith has triggered a number of Democratic lawmakers and liberal media figures. Some have even suggested that her beliefs might make her unfit to serve as a federal judge. In contrast, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was Jewish and a liberal activist lawyer for the ACLU before she was confirmed to the Supreme Court almost unanimously in 42 days.

Despite their different backgrounds and beliefs, both women have said nearly the very same things about the role their faith plays in being a jurist. During her confirmation Hearing, Justice Ginsburg set the precedent that Judge Barrett is following today.

The reason for their very different treatment is clear, politics. We are not electing a Senator or a President. We are confirming a new Justice to the Supreme Court. Politics has no place in the courtroom.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are best of friends now. But in the not so-distant past Harris had an emotional confrontation with Biden over his record on race! They are probably working really hard to hide these facts now. Oh yeah, now she has to go up against a solid debater in Mike Pence.

The Pentagon recently issued an alarming report about the Chinese Communist Party’s ominous military build-up. The People’s Republic is amassing a vast array of warships, bombers and other aircraft, missiles, tanks, etc. as part of its bid to dominate the world. We are the intended target of these weapons and other techniques Chinese strategists call “unrestricted warfare.”

Millions of American investors are unknowingly paying for these threats through their purchase of Chinese stocks and bonds. That is intolerable. It must end.

That is especially so since Chinese corporations that are getting money from Wall Street can do so without having to conform to the same rules their American counterparts must play by. Our companies have to be transparent, properly audited and willing to disclose fully material risks. The CCP’s companies don’t.

Senior U.S. government officials have repeatedly warned that Chinese companies may defraud investors. Many are involved in human rights abuses and/or pose threats to our national security. The Labor Department says that twelve of these corporations actually use child- or slave-labor making investors in them effectively slave owners.

In August, a top State Department official warned college and university governing boards served notice that the value of Chinese stocks and bonds are likely to be decline as a result of U.S. government action and that they should, therefore, divest from China. As should every private investor.

Was Comey Duped by Russian Agents?

The primary sub-source used by former British spy Christopher Steele in 2016 to produce false allegations that President Donald Trump and his campaign were really Russian agents, paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign, was himself suspected by the FBI of being a possible Russian agent in 2009, according a Sept. 24 letter by Attorney General William Barr to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). In it, Barr revealed that in the Dec. 2019 report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, a now-declassified footnote stated, “[t]he Primary Sub-source was the subject of an FBI counterintelligence investigation from 2009 to 2011 that assessed his/her documented contacts with suspected Russian intelligence officers.” And former FBI Director James Comey says he had no idea his agency was potentially trafficking in Russian disinformation. Naturally.
