Biden’s entire domestic policy agenda is contained in the two massive spending spending bills that are stalled in Congress. Can he light a fire under his fellow Democrats to get the bills passed? The Associated Press reports that the White House reached out to union presidents before Biden announced his sweeping vaccine mandates and will continue to check in with labor leaders. Is this what we’re supposed to accept as “following the science” inside the Biden White House? The vaccine mandates were supposed to be the Fauci-approved, scientific method of combatting “the epidemic of the unvaccinated,” right? You’ll notice that the police unions aren’t receiving this sort of red carpet treatment. Biden’s party isn’t exactly wild about the police these days, seeking to defund, if not abolish them. That’s why some of them are having to go to court to fight these mandates. It’s not just Americans who are rejecting Big Government vaccine mandates. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The streets of France are flooded for the ninth straight week with protesters against President Emmanuel Macron’s vaccine passport scheme, with an estimated one-hundred-and-twenty-one thousand demonstrators marching throughout the country, including about nineteen-thousand in Paris. In the French capital, there were four demonstrations against the vaccine passport on Saturday, with demonstrators chanting “Macron, your pass, we do not want it,” “Macron, resign,” and “no to dictatorship.” One protester told a French broadcaster – quote – My fear is the total loss of freedoms and the vaccination of children. I don’t want to be forced to show a QR code to go out, I want to keep my privacy confidential. Aside from the draconian health pass system, the demonstrators also protested against the upcoming vaccine mandate for healthcare workers, which is set to be imposed on September 15th.

The unvaccinated are getting treated unfairly. Biden’s rhetoric and approach to socialized medicine are to blame.

The robot revolution already happened and nobody noticed. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute. During the pandemic companies have been using technology to replace workers when they couldn’t or wouldn’t come to work. In many cases, that meant additional automation. In others, companies moved to incorporate robots where possible. But now that we may (eventually) be moving toward the end of the pandemic, a lot of jobs that used to be done by people may not be coming back. Having invested in robotics, there may be little incentive for employers to go back to the old flesh and blood model of their workforce. Even older technology, such as QR codes, are being employed at places like restaurants, so diners can order from their tables by scanning those pixelated square barcodes rather than consulting a server. The Financial Times reported recently on a jewelry store owner who revamped her set-up so that window shoppers can use smartphones to purchase items by scanning those little square codes.
