Tucked inside the Build Back Broke spending bill is a massive tax break for millionaires. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The Democrats claim their spending bill would help middle class Americans — when in fact, it’s a massive tax break for wealthy elites. Senator Rob Portman explains:

“Millionaires, those making over a million dollars a year, are going to get a big tax break here. Almost 70 percent of millionaires are going to get a significant tax cut under this legislation. Those between five-hundred thousand and a million dollars, ninety percent of them are going to get a tax cut under this legislation. However, if you’re making thirty thousand bucks a year, only thirty percent will get a tax cut and only in the first year. In the second year it goes to 12 percent, in the third year it goes to ten percent and then down into single digits.”
And the eighty-thousand new IRS agents this bill would fund — they’ll be auditing small businesses and the middle class — not the corporate elite and millionaires.

America was built on a series of compromises, but at least one Member of Congress says compromise is no longer possible with the Left. With today’s Americans for limited Government minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio told Newsmax TV that in the past decade the left has become so radicalized they only deal in the politics of personal destruction and not policy and ideas.

“but what concerns me most is this is an attack on the Constitution. This is an attack on the First Amendment because today’s left, no longer do they believe in the First Amendment, ‘let’s have a debate, you make my argument and I’ll make my argument and we’ll see which policy, which argument carries the day.’ No longer do they do that. Today, ‘it is, if you don’t do that,’ the left says, ‘you aren’t allowed to speak if you don’t agree with me.’ And if you do, they will call you a racist.”

Jordan says all conservatives can do is just try to stop their crazy policies.

The head of the nation’s infectious disease laboratory – doctor Anthony Fauci – is advising President Biden to test everyone for COVID who enters the country – except one group – with today’s americans for limited government minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Check out this exchange with Fox News’s Steve Doocey at the White House:

“Dr. Fauci, as you advise the president of the possibility of new testing requirements for people coming into this country, does that include everybody? The answer is yes because you know that the new regulation, if you want to call it that is that anybody and everybody who is coming into the country needs to get a test within 24-hours of getting on the plane to come here. But what about people who don’t take a plane, just these border crossers who come here in huge numbers? That’s a different issue.”

Fauci went on with some long-winded, complicated reason why it’s okay for illegal immigrants to cross our border without being tested for COVID – but every American citizens coming home from abroad MUST be tested. Honestly, I just stopped listening. Who has time?

The internet went crazy with comments – one guy said he made more sense after dental surgery. Another commented that he gave that exact speech when he ran for student government in the sixth grade. America – we can and must do better than Kamala Harris – she is an absolute embarrassment.

Four trillion dollars of new spending, two trillion of new debt, two trillion dollars of new taxes. It’s going to be like throwing kerosene on a tire fire.”

Democrats are using accounting gimmicks to hide the true cost of their bill. Sen. Cornyn has send a letter to the Joint Committee on Taxation and Congressional Budget Office demanding a more honest accounting of the true cost of Biden’s Build Back Better bill.
