According to the latest AP Stylebook: If mention of degrees is necessary to establish someone’s credentials, the preferred form is to avoid an abbreviation and use instead a phrase such as: John Jones, who has a doctorate in psychology. However, because the public frequently identifies Dr. only with physicians, care should be taken to ensure that the individual’s specialty is stated in first or second reference.

However, don’t be surprised if the Associated Press bows to political correctness and changed its style guide to accommodate those on the Left who are losing their minds over anyone who refuses to call Jill Biden doctor.

Trump does it again, peace breaks out between Israel and neighbors. With the ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. President Donald Trump and his administration have achieved a fourth peace agreement with Israel, this time with Morocco, effectively normalizing relations between Israel and Morocco.

Trump continues to prove to be the greatest peace President in modern American history. Prior peace and normalization agreements with United Arab Emirates, Sudan and Bahrain and Israel set the stage for the opportunity of a generation to put finally the Middle East at peace.

It is incumbent upon Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who has a long history of supporting Israel, to demand that a potential Biden administration move forward with a winning peace process rather than gazing back longingly to their failed policies of the past. Donald Trump continues to be the most consequential President this century. Rural voters say Joe Biden represents a return to the bad old days, when their jobs were shipped overseas. They say Biden’s status quo policies haven’t worked for them for decades and they are urging President Trump to keep up the fight to investigate allegations of widespread voter fraud in Philadelphia.

Texas to the rescue! With the ALG Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Just as hope for a fair and honest election begins to fade for many Americans, the Texas Attorney General has filed a lawsuit with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the election results in four key states. Paxton’s lawsuit challenges the election procedures in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin on the grounds they violate the Constitution. Texas is asking the Supreme Court to order the states to allow their legislatures to appoint their electors. There is clear and compelling evidence these states violated the Constitution. They used the Covid pandemic to justify ignoring state absentee and mail-in voting laws. In flooding their states with millions of absentee ballot applications and ballots, statutory controls went out the window. For the sake of not only this election, but all future elections, we need every state attorneys general to support this lawsuit. Our republic is at stake. The U.S. media has bombarded Americans with a torrent of unrelenting bad news when it comes to Covid. A new National Bureau of Economic Research paper says the media went too far and created a climate of fear and even panic. They found that 91 percent of stories by major U.S. media outlets were negative in tone. Stories of increasing Covid-19 cases outnumbered stories of decreasing cases by a factor of more than 5-to-1, even during times when new cases were declining. That imbalance in media coverage has created a climate of fear. Americans, including our lawmakers, began to respond to the virus in irrational ways. Basic virology went out the window as ’15 days to flatten the curve’ devolved into a mad idea that we must close down society and shelter from the virus, unleashing unprecedented restrictions on economic freedom and destroying untold numbers of lives and livelihoods in the process. Not wanting a repeat of what appears to be widespread voter fraud in the November election, Georgia’s GOP is stepping up election oversight to ensure the January 5 senate run-off elections are open and honest.
