Voices in China yearning to be heard. With the ALG News Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen.

The Chinese Communist Party has taken millions of their own people and forced them into concentration camps – their stories never told. But one group, the Captive Nations Coalition, is changing that. The group has released a series of short videos with first hand accounts of people who have escaped one of these camps or have family members still trapped in one.

The group’s director says we “want to get their voices to the American public. What is happening in China right now is unimaginable to those of us in the free world.”

One woman believes she was imprisoned because she practiced a form of Buddhism called Falun Gong. In the labor camp she says she was forced to run and march for long hours under the blazing sun. She was sleep deprived for nearly 50 days. She says police fed her drugs which made her feel dizzy and have heart palpitations. She could barely breathe.

As Joe Biden continues to duck, dodge, and weave on the question of packing the Supreme Court, an elected official in his own party is calling court packing a “dangerous proposal.” Biden said the American people will have to wait until after the election to know what he thinks of court packing. He’s already getting pushback from within his own party. Democratic Congressman Collin Peterson has introduced a bi-partisan resolution to permanently set the number of U.S. Supreme Court Justices at nine. Peterson’s resolution is the first step toward protecting the highest court in the land from political corruption that Biden’s far-left base is calling for.

Biden won’t just say “no” to court packing because he fears it will alienate his far-left base. But he’s already alienated at least one member of his party. We’ll have to “wait until after the election” to find out how many independent voters he’s alienated.

Kunbolatuuly says his brother was imprisoned for no reason for 1 1/2 years. That sentence turned into 10 years. He is worried about his brother and doesn’t know if he is dead or alive.

This young man hasn’t seen his brother in two years. The Chinese Communist Party imprisoned his brother in a concentration camp and he is asking for the United States to help find his brother and put an end to these Chinese camps.

Her failed presidential bid may have been a strong indicator that there is not the level of enthusiasm for Kamala Harris as her party would like. She also was not a shining star at the debate against Mike Pence. Check out the latest of her capers.

Would Joe Biden just leave the economy shut down forever? If he wins, Democrats will hold the American people hostage in order to transform America with the Green New Deal, universal income, socialized medicine and ongoing riots in our cities. In every election since 1932, every Democrat winning the White House in his first term has also won the House and the Senate, often with super majorities. Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all did it. And to cement their majorities and the legislative gains they make in 2020, Democrats have already threatened to abolish the filibuster in order to amend the Judiciary Act of 1869 and pack the Supreme Court — increasing the threshold way beyond the current nine justices set by law. This is the most radical platform any Democratic candidate has ever run on. 2020 then is not merely a choice election that will be ruled by turnout — it is an existential threat to the U.S. Constitution and the civil society if Biden wins.
