The numbers are startling. More parents are pulling their children out of school for homeschooling this fall, prompted in large part by school mask policies and ongoing virus concerns.

The homeschooling rate in the US doubled in 2020, and tripled from its pre-pandemic level, as parents sought other options when confronted with prolonged school closures.

Kerry McDonald, Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Economic Education joins us to talk about how more parents are demanding freedom from government education mandates.

A majority of Democratic voters believe that supporters of former President Trump and unvaccinated Americans pose a bigger threat to the nation than the Taliban or China, according to a new Scott Rasmussen poll.
Among Democrats, fifty-seven percent believe that Trump supporters are a serious threat to the nation, and fifty six percent believe the same about unvaccinated individuals. By comparison, only forty-four percent see the Taliban and China as a serious threat, and just thirty seven percent see Russia as a serious threat. Among Democrats, twenty percent see illegal immigrants as a serious threat, and twenty four percent think the same of “Defund the Police” activists. This is why it is so hard for Americans to come together right now – a majority of Democrats are incapable of thinking clearly and the real threats in the world. More Damning Evidence of the Great Wuhan Cover-up. At the start of the Covid pandemic, twenty-seven scientists banded together and wrote a letter to Britain’s Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 began in a Wuhan, China lab. Their assurances fixed the media narrative that the virus had natural origins for almost a year, shut down debate and created many misperceptions that slowed down understanding of the virus. Now Britain’s Daily Telegraph has discovered that twenty-six of the twenty-seven signatories to the Lancet letter have links to Wuhan lab researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors. Obviously, the letter was the product of a group with massive conflicts of interest. The delay caused by the false narrative allowed the Chinese to stall and eventually destroy much of the evidence on the virus. Most Americans oppose President Joe Biden’s extra-constitutional vaccine mandate. It’s less than a year into the Biden presidency, but so far Blacks have hardly prospered under Bidenomics. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. The August jobs report was disappointing and for no group more than Blacks. The black unemployment rate ROSE in August from eight-point-six percent to eight-point-eight percent. Under the Biden economy, Blacks have by far the highest unemployment rates of any race. However, the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that in Republican-controlled states with a higher concentration of Black Americans – unemployment was lower than in Democrat-controlled states with similar concentrations of Blacks. Alabama, Georgia, South and North Carolina, and Tennessee all are among the states with lowest unemployment. But blue states – including the District of Columbia – with large Black populations have the highest unemployment rates. A huge change from the Trump Economy.
