Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) has introduced legislation that would ensure the federal government is not incentivizing schools to teach Critical Race Theory. He has also introduced a bill to protect free speech on college campuses.

Florida is stepping up to help with the nation’s supply chain crisis. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that Florida Seaports have open capacity and can meet holiday demand, while other seaports across the country are struggling to keep up.

“In California, they just announced they are going to start operating their ports twenty-four seven. Our ports have always operated twenty-four seven, that should be happening anyways. And so, we in Florida, have the ability to help alleviate these log jams and help to ameliorate the problems with the supply chain and part of it is because we’ve long been committed to reliable modern and accessible port facilities.”

Since 2019, Florida has invested nearly $1 billion into its seaports to ensure there is capacity to serve as much cargo as possible. The state has also invested in infrastructure to make sure roadways are capable of handling the demand of today’s freight movements.

Conservative radio show host Dan Bongino is threatening to walk away from Cumulus Media, who carries his radio program, over their enforcement of the Biden vaccine mandates. Bongino, who himself is vaccinated, is taking a stand to protect the rights of others at Cumulus media, who are being told, “Get vaxxed or lose your job.”

Like many of you, I only recently learned that the Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has been on two months paid paternity leave since August… here’s why that’s a problem. It is so divisive at a time when this country needs unification. It is putting us in silos, it is putting us in groups and pitting us one against the other, which is flat out wrong, it’s unAmerican and it will lead you know to a civil war of sorts either, you know, in theory or in practice.
That was Representative Greg Murphy on Newsmax TV. He has introduced the Fight Radicalization of Elementary Education (FREE) Act, which will prohibit the Department of Education from encouraging school districts to adopt critical race theory curriculum using federal grant funding, thwarting the left’s attempt to indoctrinate students with its racist agenda. Americans for Limited Government is urging Members of Congress to co-sponsor this legislation to protect your tax dollars from funding the left’s Marxist agenda.

G-O-P representative James Comer says Democrats are in the midst of a Civil War that could spell doom for their massive, inflationary spending bills. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen.

“Democrats are in the midst of a civil war right now. They can’t agree on how much to spend. And I can tell you, we were in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday and the relationship among Democrats within their conference is only getting worse and I think the more time you give them, the worse off they are going to be.”

Comer also told Newsmax TV that was smart politics for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to agree to extend the national debt ceiling and run the clock out on the legislation.
The debt ceiling has been extended until December, and Comer said Democrats should use the extra time to look around and see the United States is facing massive inflation for the first time in 30 years. We simply cannot afford the Democrats’ inflationary spending.
